| HISTORY AND CULTURE | The Development of Sison is geared towards Agricultural, Industrial and Eco-Tourism aspects that are sustainable in nature. Improvement and enhancement of the delivery of basic services is our concern. Increase tax collection through massive information drive, which in return could serve the constituents through government services. On agriculture, various proposed programs, projects and activities are being considered in consonance with the food security program of the municipality. Agricultural production is being enhanced to ensure sufficiency.On Agrarian development, the municipality of Sison is one of the Agrarian Reform Communities (ARC), which aims to uplift the economic condition of the farmers. Eco-tourism projects are identified for income-generating activities and tourism development of the area, with environmental protection and safety nets policies. For economic activities, it is proposed to increase commercial areas for terminal, market, slaughterhouse and other commercial centers as income generating projects of the local government. Residential areas are also increased to give emphasis on the growing population of the municipality, as it has been aimed that Sison will become a minor urban center of the province. | |
